A building in downtown Phoenix

Simple post today.  I grabbed this shot a few weeks back after shooting the Children’s Action Alliance charity event in downtown Phoenix.  I had some time to kill so I walked around a bit with Canon in hand.

The architecture of this building caught my eye along with the dappled light being reflected on it.  As I stared at the light patterns I started seeing shapes in them much like we do with clouds.  Of course standing in an urban jungle is not nearly as fun as lying flat on your back in a nice grassy meadow staring up at the sky.

Until next time…

  1. This is really cool Chris, I probably would have walked right by this, I see all kinds of things! Mushrooms, rubber ducks…maybe I’m losing my mind, haha

  2. The building with its pattern in the grey tiles and the additional relief to some of the narrower panels would have made an interesting image but to add the light dapples makes it even better. Nice capture.
