Shooting outdoor senior portraits is always a treat for me. The Arizona sunshine makes for some amazing light to put a beautiful senior like Hayley in.
Hayley Shines for her Outdoor Senior Portraits
I was thrilled when Hayley contacted me to shoot her outdoor senior portraits. We decided to shoot at Freestone Park which always offers great locations and open spaces. Of course the downside of a great location is everybody else has the same idea so you end up working around crowds. Nonetheless we were able to work our way around the crowds and capture some amazing images of Hayley.
As you can see Hayley has an incredible natural look that just glows for the camera. My job was pretty easy photographing Hayley, just point the camera and hit the button. Along with that beautiful natural look is a laid back teen who was great to work with. No diva attitude here, just easy going. What more could you ask for?
As the sun began to set I could tell the golden hour was going to be special. The golden light we get here in the valley of the sun is second to none. I could shoot everyday at sunset and never grow tired of it. I was able to find perfect light for Hayley that just accented her hair and skin tone beautifully. She absolutely crushed it!!!
Its been fun watching Hayley go from a young teenager to a high school senior. I photographed her older sister Nicole’s senior photos a few years back. A funny coincidence with both of their sessions. My first time out with Nicole we had a dust storm blow through Tempe that ended her session early. When I scheduled Hayley’s session the day of the shoot we had severe weather that generated a small dust storm as well that caused us to reschedule. I’m not sure what these two sisters have to do with the weather but something is up.
