Mesa Arts Center Engagement
It’s always fun to shoot a Mesa Arts Center engagement. It’s even more fun when it’s a personal fan who is in front of the camera. I’ve known Shannon for several years. Last year she contacted me after the big question was popped about photographing her wedding. Naturally I said yes.
Mesa Arts Center Engagement Goes to the Dogs
When clients bring their four legged companions to shoots, my heart jumps for joy. As a dog lover I absolutely love it when I get to photograph somebody’s pooch. Not only does it make the session their own, but I get to play with their dog as well. Remi was so well behaved. She was calm and minded well, especially for a chocolate labrador. Perhaps our mini-poodle Romeo could take some lessons from Remi.
One thing with photographing at the Mesa Arts Center is it is a very popular spot for photography. Engagements, high school seniors, and family photos are always in full swing at the Arts Center. We had to dodge our way around several groups through out our shoot. Having lots of people around is both a blessing and a curse. It’s good some times to get that energy from a crowd as people are out and enjoying the area. The down side is having to wait your turn at times for a particular spot.
I’m looking forward to this fall when Shannon and Derek’s wedding rolls around. Their venue is one of the newer ones here in the Phoenix area. They will be getting married at The Paseo. Can’t wait to shoot there with their amazing views of the Superstition Mountains. Shannon and Derek will have an amazing wedding and I get to be a part of their day preserving the memories. Below are a few of my favorites from their Mesa Arts Center engagement session.
I have always wanted to do a shoot at the Mesa arts center. So many places to take pictures! I was wondering if you needed to get permission or a permit to do this shoot?
I was told you don’t need one. I have shot there several times and have never been asked for one.
