Emmy and Trevor had an amazing Superstition Manor Wedding last month. These two were laughs and smiles the whole day as their 40s inspired wedding unfolded. When I first met Emmy I knew she marched to a different drum. Of course I totally dig that. After they hired me for their wedding we began discussing engagement session ideas. Emmy and Trevor already knew what they wanted, an engagement session that involved a game of Twister and paint. Way cool!

Fast forward to their Superstition Manor wedding complete with a 40s touch. Superstition Manor is an amazing venue with a spectacular view of the Superstition Mountains. As fate would have it our view that day was obscured by some stormy weather. Yes, it occasionally rains in Arizona. The rain really never came but the wind did not let up resulting in their wedding being moved indoors.

Some couples might have gotten terribly upset that Mother Nature was jacking with them on their wedding day, but Emmy and Trevor took it in stride. Nothing was going to spoil their big day. The ceremony was moved indoors as the staff of Superstition Manor did an excellent job with the transition.

Their ceremony covered the whole rainbow of emotion, there were laughs, there were tears, and plenty of love. The night carried on with toasts, the shoe game, and plenty of dancing. The DJ was spinning a mix of 40s songs with the occasion current mix of dance songs to keep the party going. Trevor and Emmy’s wedding exit was not your traditional exit. Of course with these two you would expect nothing less. No, their Superstition Manor wedding ended with a paper airplane exit as guests made their own airplanes to fly Emmy and Trevor off to wedding bliss.

I would like to thank Bethaney Photography for assisting me. I could not have made it through the day without her.

Below are a few of my favorite images from Emmy and Trevor’s wedding at Superstition Manor. Enjoy.
