Here’s another one from this summer’s Google Plus Photowalk held in old town Scottsdale.
We had just finished up our walk and were at that “where are we going to eat” phase when I noticed the sun coming through the horse sculpture. So I laid on the ground and framed up the shot. One thing about shooting with a bunch of photographers is they know the drill. No one even gave me a second look for laying flat out on the sidewalk. Ahh the company you keep.
For the movie buffs, can you remember a certain Bruce Willis movie where this expression (plus another choice word) was quoted? If so leave your guess in the comments.
Until next time…
Camera: Canon 5DM2 with a Canon 17-40L
Processing: Lightroom 4.1, CS5, Phototools 2.6
What a great find, Chris. Good job capturing this fine shot, man.
Yippie-Ki-Ya, from the first “Die Hard” movie is my guess. I’ve seen them all so they are starting to run together now. 🙂
Great angle. Yup its very comforting being with other photographers. No one blinks twice when you do things like that. Terrific shot.
Great perspective on this unusual subject Chris. Love the sunburst.
ooooh Chris, that is a fantastic shot. I love it. Nice work buddy.
Really nice shot sir, I think those rays bring the whole thing together. Gives life to the photo that otherwise might seem static.
