Dancing in Phoenix

One of the beliefs I have has a photographer/individual is you should never settle for where you are at in your career. If you are not pushing forward and learning something new then your work becomes stale and boring. Who wants that?!? I try to expand my knowledge of photography whenever I can. This learning can come from books, online tutorials, or workshops put on by world class instructors such as Don Giannatti. Don recently taught a lighting class here in Phoenix which I was fortunate enough to attend. Learning about off camera flash has been my obsession lately so this class was a welcomed adventure. We were able to spend several hours shooting Brianna and Garrett in various poses and lighting conditions. It was such a fun day working with these two talented and upcoming dancers. Below you will see a few of my favorites from the day’s shoot. As always you can click on the pics to view them larger.
