Wow, doesn’t Emily look stunning for her bridal portrait at the Desert Botanical Garden! A little while back I met up with Emily to photograph her one more time in her wedding dress. As you can see she rocked it!

Beautiful Bridal Portrait Desert Botanical Garden

This was my 3rd time to be able to photograph Emily. I did her and Chris’s engagement session in downtown Phoenix followed up with their wedding at Soho63. I was excited when Emily mentioned doing a bridal shoot. We kicked around a few location ideas and finally settled on the Botanical Gardens.

Normally the Gardens are beautiful by themselves and make for a fun location. However we lucked out by having the Chihuly glass exhibit being on display while we were there. Talk about a double bonus! These unique glass sculptures are like nothing you have ever seen. Their twisty and curly shapes make for some of the most amazing pieces of art. Couple that with a gorgeous bride and the Gardens and you end up with a lot of WOW!

We had a blast making our way around the Gardens finding unique locations with the Chihuly art pieces. Of course Emily was getting complements and questions about being in her wedding dress. Bridal portraits are so much fun as their is no rush on having to move onto something else. You can find a sweet location and shoot several different poses without having to worry about a timeline.

For those brides considering a bridal portrait session, I highly encourage it. Throw on that dress and rock it like a diva. Some brides will go crazy and turn it into a trash the dress session like jumping in the ocean. Fun!

Below are few of my favorite images from Emily’s bridal portrait at the Desert Botanical Garden. Enjoy!
