Birthday Monkey

Tomorrow our 3 year old monkey will turn into a 4 year old monkey.  And of course our house will turn into a temporary zoo as his cohorts in crime come over for fun and games.   Oh boy!

Even with Cole being our second child I’m still amazed at how fast he is growing up.  He is learning to play T-ball and can now navigate the monkey bars without my help.  Where has the time gone?  The binkies and rattles have been replaced with ball gloves and Wii remotes.  Of course he still enjoys a piggy back ride, a wrestling match and playing the slug bug game.  Small moments in time I cherish deeply.

Time is short and these activities will be replaced with something else.   Hopefully dear old dad will still be in the mix.
