Emily and Chris had a Soho63 wedding and I happened to be there to capture the action. What an awesome night in downtown Chandler!

Soho63 Wedding Lights Up Chandler

I met Emily and Chris last year and knew right away they would be a fun couple to work with. My suspicions were confirmed during their Phoenix engagement session. We had a blast running all over downtown Phoenix. I knew their wedding would be even better.

Chris and Emily are kind of that quiet couple that keeps the fun going without you even knowing it. They keep you laughing and smiling the whole time you are around them. I’m not sure how they do it but I need to acquire this skill.

Photographing Emily for some of her bridal portraits was such a joy. A beautiful bride makes my job easy. I just point the camera and push the button. Emily did all the work. Of course we can’t leave Chris out as he rocked his groom portraits like a model out of Abercrombie.

Our day continued on as we headed to Soho63. Chris and Emily opted for a “first touch” before the ceremony. I love this spin on the “first look”. The bride and groom hide from each and touch hands for a bit and share a few thoughts before their lives become one.

Their ceremony was filled with laughs and few tears. Emily looked stunning as she came down the aisle. Chris was absolutely mesmerized (as he should be) when he saw her. The action had only begun as the reception got started. Family, bridal party, and friends all hit the dance floor to celebrate the new married couple. The party went all night until it was time for the bubble exit. Chris and Emily rocked their exit through a sea of bubbles as everyone wished them well. What a send off.

I would like to thank Kaitlin Colston for second shooting and helping me out. I couldn’t have done it without her. And finally a big congrats to Chris and Emily. I wish you guys well on you new life together.
