Sunset At The Rim

Today we head back to the high country of north east Arizona. This is a follow up shot to a post I did last week titled Vista Point (see it here).
We were camping a few weeks ago with friends on the Mogollon Rim which is just east of Payson Arizona. At sunset I slipped away from the campsite and made my way to Vista Point for this view. It still amazes me that this is AZ. Of course that sunset is a textbook example of the ones we have have but nonetheless this isn’t Phoenix.
Down to the lower left you can see a few car trails on highway 260 as people are making their way to and from this beautiful area.
Until next time…
