Courtney

Good morning everyone.  Hopefully your weekend went well.  Mine seemed to go way too quick.  I’m sure a lot of you watched the Grammy Awards last night like I did.  Two things I took away were A) Nicki Minaj proved you can have zero talent and still be famous B) Jennifer Hudson did a great job with her tribute to Whitney Houston.

Now on to today’s post.  A few weeks back I had a portrait session with Courtney in downtown Chandler.  She nailed her session and I thought I would share a few of my favorite shots.  I mentioned it back in the preview post of how laid back and carefree she was during the shoot.  I’m hoping some of that rubbed off on me for everyday life. 🙂

  1. Great series of images, Chris. They really turned out very well. Professional work, as always.

I agree with you on the Grammy Awards, not sure what Ms. Minaj was trying to get across. Maybe I’m getting old. LOL

Whitney… what can I say. Heartbreaking loss.

    1. I think I’m getting old as well Jimi. I just dont’ get any of her music. Whitney was a huge loss with such a sad ending to a great singer and vocalist.

  2. Great stuff! My only critique was going to be to edit the power lines out of the last rooftop image, but after closer inspection (on iPhone), it’s a cloud!! 🙂

  3. Nice series of images. I must admit, your flash work is starting to pull together rather nicely and is inspiring me to try and do more with mine. Keep up the good work.

  4. Great series – very natural looking shots. We were impressed with the Grammy Awards – Adele was fantastic. The UK has a great female singer for once!
