Engagement Photos at Papago Park | Megan and Joe
What an amazing day for engagement photos at Papago Park. Megan, Joe and Biscuit joined me for an afternoon in the desert.
Fun Engagement Photos at Papago Park
It’s always fun getting outside to photograph couples. On location engagement sessions allow for exploring and getting to know my couples. What better way to get to know each other than in a relaxed fun environment. Hearing about Megan and Joe’s meeting and their school backgrounds was so exciting.
These guys have been engaged for a bit so when their friends heard of the engagement they ribbed them a little about “how long it took”. Running with this teasing, Megan came up with the idea of pig balloons for their session. So how does pig balloons make their way into an engagement session photo shoot? Well since their engagement took awhile (at least according to their friends), Megan came up with “when Pigs fly” as a theme for their engagement. You have to love that sense of humor.
We made our way around Papago with Biscuit jumping into the action. Biscuit did an amazing job at playing the cute dog part. As a dog lover I always get giddy when couples ask if they can bring their dogs. My response is always “YES!!” Before we knew it the sun was setting and wrapped up our session. Next door the Phoenix Zoo had their annual “zoo lights” celebration going on. Megan and Joe were excited to get a few shots with the lights. I have to admit I was super stoked as well. This would give me a chance to work with off camera flash and give them some amazing images with the lights. After making our way past the crowds we were able to find a few secluded spots to have some fun. Megan and Joe donned their Penn State hoodies and rocked some looks. Awesome times with my clients. Below you will find some of my favorite images from our session.
