Adrienne and Barry | Boojum Tree Wedding
Adrienne and Barry had a gorgeous Boojum Tree wedding. Surrounded by family and friends their special day was one to remember.
One of my favorite things about weddings is the story of how couples meet. They range from high school sweet hearts to those odd chance encounters. Adrienne and Barry’s story is much like the latter. Their’s truly is a game of love. A chance encounter at the blackjack table lead these two lovebirds to meet. Who says gambling never pays off!
Our bride and groom both got ready at Boojum Tree. This is always a fun environment when the bride and groom are so close to each other. You get to bounce back and forth between the two and help fuel the excitement. As our couple were getting ready for their big day my 2nd photographer and I were busy capturing the memories. Fun candid shots are always fun to get during the getting ready part of a wedding day. Adrienne was laughing and giggling with her girls while Barry and the fellows were trading stories.
As Adrienne finished up her makeup I took her Oleg Cassini wedding dress out for a few detail shots. Adrienne chose well as her dress looked stunning. Of course no dress is complete without a nice set of shoes to complete the look. Our bride knows style like nobody’s business as evidenced by her shoes, Prada. Elegant and simply gorgeous her Pradas tied it all together. Not to be outdone Barry was sporting his own unique style for the big day, custom cufflinks. These bad boys were a nice reminder of how these two met at the blackjack table.
Once our happy couple was ready for the day we moved on to the first look. I love it when my couples decide to do the first look. It gives them a little alone time to just soak it in with no one else around. Such a special moment for these two.
The ceremony was filled with love and laughter. Family and friends watched on as Adrienne and Barry started their life as one. Right after the ceremony we stole away for a few bride and groom portraits throughout Boojum Tree. I got them back in time for their grand entrance with everyone watching. The night played out with first dances, toasts, and lots of dancing. What a wonderful wedding day these two had and I was fortunate enough to be a part of it. I wish them the best on their future.
