New Year New Choices

Happy New Year! I hope everyone was able to ring in the new year safe and sound. I find it hard to believe that it is 2012 already. It doesn’t seem that long ago we were all worried about Y2K.
This is my first post for the new year and I would like to start out by saying “thank you” to everyone who stops by and reads my blog and makes comments. I truly appreciate everyone’s feedback.
This past year was a blast for me. I was able to take a few small steps forward in my photography business and look forward to 2012 as continuing with that progress. I feel truly blessed to be able to go out and shoot the things I’m passionate about. Everything from the AZ desert, to monsoon storms, to glowing brides I was able to capture in 2011. With the new year in full swing I’m ready to push my boundaries and grow as a photographer and business person.
With so much to learn I’m eager to get started with this new year and new choices to make. I wish everyone a happy and successful 2012!
Oh and a little bit about today’s image. This sunflower was shot in downtown Phoenix during the Google Plus photo walk. It is apart of a community project founded by Sean Sweat and sits on 2 acres of land in downtown Phoenix. More info on this exciting project can be found here.
Until next time…

Hope you enjoyed the Holiday break. 😉
Hope 2012 is even better for you Chris!
Happy New Year Chris. Ah – a reminder of summer, I can do with that on a grey January day. I always love close-ups of Sunflowers – how does nature create such fantastic whorls in the centre of a Sunflower
