Aspen
Today’s post will be quick and simple. Here we have some Aspens growing in Colorado.
Anytime I see an Aspen I immediately think of the Rocky Mountains. Known for their shimmering leaves, it shouldn’t be much longer until they turn to their signature gold color. They are truly a sight to behold.
Hopefully this year I will get my fix by visiting Flagstaff and catching some of these in all their golden beauty.
Until next time…

I have to agree. I always think of forest, even if I just see a lone tree. Nice shot.
Very nice Chris. I like the shadow play on the tree.
Nice shot, Chris. Yes, we are entering on of the best times of year for foliage. Looking forward to some of your captures.
Very nice shot!
Love to see Aspens turn that golden yellow!
Great light in this capture, Chris, I really enjoyed it!
The Aspens in Breckenridge were beautiful in their fall golden color. Every day we were there, it was more beautiful than the day before. We thought of you while we were there, knowing how you could capture the sights with your camera and your skill.
Very nice capture Chris! Beautiful light and shadow, as mentioned before.
Great shot Chris! I love Aspen Trees. I wish that they grew down here.
Cool trees. Well captured as well! I would love to see them in yellow!
Great shot. I had the same reaction. I grew up seeing these trees every spring in Colorado, and its the first thing I think of (that and that song by John Denver).
Nice picture, great contrast between the white trunk and the green leaves in the background.
Great image, thanks for sharing it.
Got to love the Aspens! I’ll be photographing a cattle drive this weekend up above Crested Butte and the leaves should be beautiful.
So envious.
