Back To Two Guns AZ

One year ago today I was up at 4am preparing for a trip to northern Arizona. I wasn’t alone at this hour. I had 3 cohorts in crime that would be accompanying me for the journey. My buddies that day were Mike Olbinski, Rick Young, and a guy named Ken. We would later be joined by Scott Wood and his wife Anne.
Our first stop for this excursion was Two Guns Arizona. Pictured above is one of the few remaining structures of this old ghost town. This building would make a fun place for a bridal shoot. It had several rooms which could allow for some interesting bridal portraits. In addition to the few old stone buildings there was a deserted lodge complete with graffiti plastered swimming pool.
Once we were finished we made our way over to Winslow (yes, the one with the corner) and then finished our day with Grand Falls. Stay tuned this week as I will be posting pics from each of those locations in celebration of our trip.
I will forever be thankful for this adventure because it was the start of my friendship with each of these gentlemen. These guys are incredible photographers and great friends. Thanx for letting me tag along fellas.
Until next time…

Cool image and location Chris. Never heard of the place but I will be in the area in May and will try to fit it in.
Ahh, great memories! Loved that trip, wish we could do it again 🙂
Gorgeous shot! Awesome work.
Very cool shot Chris. I’ve never been to Two guns. I have to put that on my list the next time I’m in Arizona.
Awesome shot Chris, love the framing
How much water is moving over the falls, I am in PHX and have been wanted to get up there to check it out. Nice blog, you have been on my google reader for months now.
Thank you for the kudos. The flow is pretty slow right now. My buddy Mike Olbinski was watching it last week and said it was pretty slow.
Beautifully simple composition, Chris. It really works.
Wonderful composition.
