Dappled Windows

Quick post today as time is short. In portraits you generally want to avoid dappled light on your subjects. However I thought it added a little bit of punch to this building in downtown Phoenix.
Until next time…
Camera: Canon 5DM2 with a Canon 50mm
Processing: Lightroom 3, CS4, Phototools 2.6
I’m assuming this is the building across from the Chase building?
I love the quality and detail that you got out of the brick.
The dapples work just fine here. Nice work!
Love this shot. The dapples create an artful pattern and enhance the photo.
I like the play of light and shadow here. I also like how you can see reflections of the world on the windows.
The shadows do add a neat element to the shot 🙂
The dappled effect of the shadows really makes this shot! A great capture.
Nice shot man. I like how you used the different style brickwork on the right to make pseudo boarder.
I think the dapples really add to an otherwise unassuming building. Well done.
The shadows playing across the face of the building really give the shot some interesting character.
Great use of shadows and light
This is a really cool find Chris, awesome
Very interesting. The entire wall looks like puzzle to me!
Great details!
Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely
unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
I use WordPress (the .org) and have been extremely happy with it.
