Newborn Photos of Baby Andrew

Everyone this is Baby Andrew. Baby Andrew this is everyone. A few months back I had the honor of shooting his newborn photos.  What a cutie! 

Andrew’s parents Ian and Amy have been friends of ours for a long time. So when they announced that Amy was pregnant we were overjoyed for them! Of course part of me always takes great pleasure in knowing the sleepless nights and poopie diapers that awaits any couple having their first child. Sort of that rite of passage I guess. Muhahaha!!!

But in all seriousness it was exciting news. Ian and Amy have always been quite active over the years as a couple. They are that couple that is always up for anything rather it be a good concert, a weekend trip to Vegas, or a cruise in the Caribbean they are “in”. I doubt that Andrew is going to slow that lifestyle down too much. I”m sure he will be a well traveled young man by the time he hits the ripe old age of five years.

I always enjoy shooting newborn photos for friends. It’s a great feeling to know that they trust me to capture their little one in those first few days. Lord knows that after a few weeks the changes come fast and furious. And it’s fun to see how the new parents adjust with a baby in their life. No amount of reading or advice can truly prepare you for the first few weeks with a baby. As they say “kids will change your life forever”.

We had a great time at Ian and Amy’s house photographing Andrew. He was a trooper as we put him through his paces. I think he got a little fussy for a bit, but what newborn doesn’t. He did a great job as did Ian and Amy. I would like to thank both of them for allowing me the privilege of capturing Andrew’s newborn photos.  I can’t wait to see the next one come along. 🙂
