Snow-stitious

Today’s image was taken back earlier this spring. We had just had a good rainfall in the valley which generally means a lite dusting of snow on the surrounding mountains. The mountains you see here are known as the Superstitions and located out at the Lost Dutchman State Park.
This area is a favorite of mine from which numerous posts have been written. I never can put my finger on it but there is something that draws me there ever so often. What ever it is I always leave rejuvenated and inspired to keep shooting.
Until next time…

That is just so cool Chris, what a view! I love the lighting on the mountain!!
Really, really beautiful Chris…agree with Dave, the light on the mountain is fantastic.
Beauty man. Didn’t realize you guys had mountains tall enough to accumulate snow. Well done.
Beautiful Chris.
What a great scene! Nice Chris!
What a beautiful scene!
Love that golden light on the mountain!
Beautiful Chris. I really love when there is a dusting of snow up there. It really makes me wish I weren’t 100 degrees out right now.
Truly powerful & compelling my friend, AWESOME photograph!
Gorgeous shot. As previous comments already stated, the light is spot on.
It’s that lost gold that keeps drawing you there! LOL Great shot Chris. I really enjoy visiting your site. It reminds me of visiting my sister who lives in Phoenix. I wish that I could visit more often.
Thank you Phillip. AZ is a very pretty state once you get used to it.
Wow, I have to agree with the others. This is an absolutely beautiful scene. Outstanding!
wow Chris that is a real beauty, well done!!
This is a terrific HDR shot, that doesn’t look all HDR-y. I haven’t hiked those mountains in years, but I loved going out there. Great to see the snow line. Nice shot!
The picture is such a beauty, the shot is amazingly done. Love it!
