Woohoo it is Friday and better yet it is March Madness.   Not only do I get to watch college basketball all weekend, I have a maternity shoot this afternoon, and we are supposed to get some rainy weather on Sunday.  A pretty good weekend lining up and one that I need after this week.

I’m excited for the maternity shoot as we will be rocking it at the Scottsdale Civic Center.  The weather here is absolutely gorgeous for an outdoor shoot so it should be a lot of fun.  After that I plan on camping out in front of the nearest TV and getting my college basketball fix for the next 48 hours.  I’ll be sporting my Kansas Jayhawk wear and look forward to them advancing to the Sweet 16 if all goes well.

Since we are supposed to have some fun weather on Sunday,  I figured I would post a storm chasing photo from last summer.  For some reason I always feel if I post a weather pic it will have a cosmic effect on our weather pattern. The image above was captured just south of Chandler AZ back in September.  That night was epic in terms of strikes.  We had a steady stream that lasted over an hour. God willing we will see more of that this summer.

Until next time…

  1. Great image Chris. Good luck with your Jayhawks. UConn lost last night so the magic from last year has ended. Have a great shot and weekend.

  2. Sounds like you have a fun, and busy, weekend ahead of you. I hope you all get some fun weather to shoot on Sunday too! The shot today looks like a lighting runner jogging across the sky!

    1. Good call Chris. I struggled with a name for this one last night and went with an ode to ACDC on the name. I like your description better.
