Trail Rider

Today’s post we have a horse. This gorgeous guy was photographed this past summer in Durango Colorado.
One of the activities we chose was to go on a trail ride. Fortunately for us there was a stable not too far from our campground. Personally I’ve never been a huge fan of riding horses but do appreciate a chance to take in some beautiful Rocky Mountain scenery, even if it is by horseback.
The ride was slow and steady which was fine by me. Our trip took us through some magnificent scenery of the San Juan mountains. Once we made it back I couldn’t help but grab a few shots of the horses at the stable.
This guy came in as best of the bunch.
Until next time…

Really beautiful work here Chris, love the soft feel to this, nice sharp details too.
This is really a beautiful shot Chris. I love how close you got to him. He looks so pensive.
The bold tight crop has worked really well. This works excellently.
Beautiful picture!
The incredible details and tight framing help make this a wonderful image!
What a sweet image, a beautiful portrait!
Nice tight framing Chris. This crop bringing out all the detail in the horse and the bridle/reins and the slight sepia toned B&W make this an exceptional image.
This is simply a WONDERFUL shot, my friend, I really love it!
