A Twister engagement session? Oh yeah!!
When I first met Emmy to discuss her wedding I liked her right off the bat. She marches to different drum and I totally dig that. I mean when a bride says “we want to play Twister with paint for our engagement photos” what’s not to like?
I wasn’t sure what to expect or how this would play out. With paint being slung right and left I didn’t know if I or my camera would be a casualty. 🙂 Nonetheless I was game for the adventure. We started out by grabbing a few “pre-game”candid poses to get warmed up for the ensuing paint bath. Trevor’s mom’s house backed up to the Arizona desert so we made our way out there for some quick shots.
Now that we were warmed up, it was time to break out the paint and play some Twister! I think those first few splats of paint were the hardest for Emmy and Trevor. After that it got easier once they were covered. I really have to complement these guys on being troopers. They were covered in paint and graciously allowed me to keep on saying “one more shot”.
These two are planning a 40’s themed wedding that I can not wait to shoot next spring. If the energy level is anywhere near this (and why wouldn’t it be) it will be a crazy good time. As you can imagine that will be one heck of a wedding!!!
