Jeff and Amanda had their intimate wedding at the AZ Historical Society Museum. These two had an amazing wedding and I was there to photograph every bit of it.
Intimate Wedding at the AZ Historical Society
Jeff and Amanda are two wonderful people who couldn’t be a better fit for each other. All it takes is to be around them for about 5 minutes and you know each has found their soul mate. They complement each other to a tee. With their laid back easy going demeanors they are a such a joy to be around.
After meeting with them last year I was excited when they mentioned doing their engagement session in Flagstaff. I’m sucker for the outdoors and well you throw in Flagstaff and I’m there. We had an amazing time shooting on Mount Humphrey’s with the fall color. The timing could not have been more perfect.
Fast forward to their wedding at the AZ Historical Society Museum. Amanda looked stunning in her dress and was calm as a cucumber. I’m always amazed at how often brides are totally calm on their wedding day. I remember being nervous as can be on my wedding day. While Amanda was looking fabulous Jeff was holding his own looking quite dapper as he prepared for the big day.
Their ceremony was filled with family and friends. The young couple exchanged their vowels with a few tears shed on both sides of the family. After they made their grand entrance as newly weds, they performed the traditional first dance. I have to say out of all the first dances I’ve seen this is one of the best. Their playfulness and dance moves had everybody smiling. What a performance!
They finished out the night meeting with friends and dancing the night away. The night finally ended with them making their way through a gauntlet of sparklers and into the getaway car.
