This past weekend we had our first good spring storm here in the valley of the sun.  Granted most people don’t get excited about rain coming in but when you haven’t seen in about 2 months it is something to blog about.

This storm brought quite a bit of much needed rain and snow to the high country.  Our local ski resort (yes even in AZ) received over 50″ of the white stuff.  Just wish I was up there today enjoying instead of going to work.

The shot above was captured just after the system had rolled through the valley.  In the distance you can see the rain falling.  Good times.
