Click the pic for a bigger view This beautiful sunset over Tempe was my reward for hiking up A Mountain last night. I decided at the last minute that the sunset might be interesting and worth time lapsing, so I packed up my gear and headed towards Tempe. 

Click the pic for a bigger view Last night I went out for what was supposed to be an evening of storm chasing but instead turned into this sunset highway shot. My hopes were high for an evening of lightning but Mother Nature decided against it. 

Click the pic for a bigger view The Superstition Mountains take a back seat today as this cute fuzzy cholla cactus is front and center. Of course this is not teddy bear cute and fuzzy you want to give a hug to. 

Click the pic for a bigger view Super excited to share this panorama of the Milky Way over Willow Springs Lake today. I was able to capture this last weekend while we were camping in the high country of Arizona. 

Click the pic for a bigger view Friday turned into a starry night in Sedona as my friend Bryan Snider and I made the trip for some Milky Way goodness. I wasn’t sure what the night would hold but we were rewarded for the drive up. 

Click the pic for a bigger view Today we showcase a true southwest landscape with this Superstition Mountains panorama. Last week we finally had some clouds roll into the valley of the sun so I made my way out to Lost Dutchman Park for this sunset.

Click on the pic for a bigger view Last weekend we traveled north where I had a chance to capture the Milky Way over Lake Mary.  My daughter had a swim meet in Flagstaff Arizona which has very low light emissions. A perfect place to photograph the Milky Way.
