This past Sunday was filled with a road trip that allowed me to get lightning at the Petrified Forest. It was my 2nd annual trip with fellow photographers Scott Wood and Brian Snyder.
So I joined a group of a great photographers this year to form the #we35 project. Basically each month there is a challenge to shoot with only a 35mm lens or its equivalent.
What is it about snow in the Arizona desert? Most likely it is because it rarely happens.
The view of San Diego’s skyline is hard to beat. Couple that with their gorgeous beaches, amazing weather, and unlimited activities and you will know why it’s one of my favorite cities.
Fall color in Arizona is always a treat for my wife and I to witness. After moving here from the midwest it is one of those seasonal things you quickly miss while living in the desert southwest.
This panorama of the Superstition Mountains really shows off the landscape of the Arizona desert. Given its rugged mountains and moody clouds this image tells you what Arizona is all about.
