What a Phoenix wedding to remember! Chris and Cami had an amazing day filled with fun, family and friends. I’m pretty sure I had a plastered smile on my face the whole day.
Phoenix Wedding at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa
I remember meeting these two at a local Starbucks for our initial consultation thinking this is a wedding I need to be at! Upon my arrival the first thing I noticed was these two seemed to have that classic opposites attract. But as the meeting went along I could start seeing a lot of common threads between these two love birds.
As I was hearing their story they mentioned they were both into Elvis Presley. How cool is that! I didn’t show it but that was all I needed to hear. I had to be their photographer. The first record (yes those large black things that went round and round) my parents ever bought for me was the Elvis Presley TV Special album. I must have played that thing a 1000 times growing up. Yes, I must shoot their wedding!
Upon arriving at their gorgeous venue the JW Marriott, Cami was looking radiant in her Melissa Sweet wedding dress. The way Cami had her hair up reminded me of a classic pin up hairstyle that was timeless and beautiful. What a gorgeous bride!
Their ceremony was filled with the gambit of emotions. A few tears were shed along with smiling faces filled with laughter, and of course the look of love. It’s always a treat to hear a story or two from the minister and catch the reactions of the bride and groom. Chris and Cami were no exception.
They finished out their night rocking to the tunes being spun by SKM Entertainment. Gary Jenkins did an amazing job of keeping things moving along while having fun with the bride and groom.
