Sunset at Joshua Tree Park

Good morning everyone. I hope your day goes well as we are one day closer to the weekend. Woohoo!
Just a quick post today as time as been short lately (of course when is it not). This image comes from my camping trip to the Joshua Tree national park. No trip would be complete without at least one sunset picture. We didn’t get quite the cloud cover we had hoped for that night, but the flip side of that was it made for some decent star shots later.
Every time I see these trees I can’t help but think they’ve been given a poodle cut. 🙂
Until next time…

Nice one, Chris. Definitely better than what I was able to get at sunset – I should have stayed with you guys!
Lovely work Chris!
Great silhouette and I love the little bit of color just peaking over the mountains.
Great colors and just a superb silhouette Chris. Pretty awesome.
Nice, great Joshua Tree shot.
Very well done. The orange / blue contrast is perfect.
Really pretty shot, Chris. Looks like a travel poster. 😉
Wonderful Chris! Gorgeous silouhettes!
Love the deep silhouettes here Chris, and such vibrant colors as well
At least one of us got a decent sunset shot. I went with the Canuck and we had jack.
Damn Canadians. 🙂
Don’t you just love he sunsets there? Great shot man.
Really awesome shot chris….love how you framed this one!
Beautiful colours, and an excellent choice of foreground interest. This was one place we never got to visit when we toured about 20yrs ago. An earthquake ruled the Park out of bounds.
What a truly epic shot, my friend!
Amazing capture Chris. I love the dark blue sky and the sunset fading away.
Stunning colours and silhouette in this one Chris, well done!
Classic Joshua Tree sunset Chris.
