Looking To Place

Just a quick post today as time is short. This past weekend we watched our daughter compete in a swim meet. The good part is she improved her times in every event by 4 seconds or more. The bad part is we were setting in 106 degree heat to watch it. Ahh the sacrifices of being a parent. One of many.
She recently moved up to the older division and is now going against 11 & 12 year olds on a regular basis (she’s 9). It’s a little tough for her right now being the younger fish and not doing as well as she has previously. But she is improving across the board so I suspect she will start moving up.
Nonetheless she had two proud parents watching her on Saturday. The image above I caught as she was waiting to see how she placed in the breaststroke event (her favorite).
Keep it up kid!
Until next time…

Congrats to your daughter! Also, 106….bleh!
Wonderful portrait Chris. The light on her face is awesome.
There’s nothing better than a parent’s pride in their kids. Great capture of a nice moment Chris.
So true.
Ugh, that heat sounds miserable. Nice work on the shot! I’m sure she loves her daddy’s photography skills 🙂
Wonderful shot sir. Hope she does well!
