Logan rocks her senior pictures today on the blog. This session was so much fun as Logan brought it with every shot. Sometimes you just point the camera and hit the button. I felt that way pretty much through her whole shoot.
Senior Pictures at Nichols Park
I met up with Logan and her mom at Nichols Park for some senior picture awesomeness. As we got down to the park area it became quite clear that we weren’t the only ones interested in taking photos. The park was littered with photographers and clients. Fortunately the park was large enough to handle the onslaught and allow all of us to spread out and not interfere with each other. Nichols Park offered a nice backdrop with small clusters of trees and bushes to provide a variety of looks.
Once we got started I could tell the light was going to be amazing. Logan jumped into that gorgeous light and we never looked back. I could have shot there all day. As we moved around inside the tree cover it was one great spot after the other. We hit a small clearing that allowed for some great full body portraits. The overhanging trees framed around Logan made for a great setting. I love being able to include the surrounding landscape when possible.
We made our way through the park stopping along the way for different looks (love the ones with flowery bushes). As sunset approached I set up my off camera flash to take advantage of Mother Nature’s light show. Logan had made a clothing change and it fit perfectly with sunset that was coming on. As the sun began to set Logan finished just like she started, crushing the session. Holy cow did she nail this shoot.
Below you will find some of my favorite images from her outdoor senior pictures at Nichols Park.
