Up A Creek

Today’s image is from the red rock country of Sedona Arizona. This shot was taken on the West Fork Trail just outside of Sedona. The creek pictured is Oak Creek.
West Fork has to be one of the busiest trails I’ve ever been on in AZ. Its popularity has risen over the last few years so traffic has picked up considerably. Of course I was out there as well so anyone else could make the same argument about me being on the trail. 🙂
This weekend I plan to be on this trail again in search of fall colors. When this image was taken the colors had barely begun to change due to the ever lasting summer we are having here in AZ. I’m hoping for better results this time around.
Until next time…

I love Oak Creek. Fantastic shot.
This is one awesome POV Chris, I love how crisp the reflections are! I gotta make a trip out west soon!
Very nice. Ann and I were just talking about a trip north to find some fall colors.
What an incredible place. Those cliffs are beautiful, and I really like the composition you chose.
That place looks so cool man. Love the deep reds of the stone. Nice job.
I would totally stop and have lunch here. I would love to walk around here for a bit just exploring.
Beautiful shot. I haven’t been to Sedona in in years, but now I want to return. Great stuff.
Chris this is awesome! I like the small slice of reflection and the vivid greens of the trees and other foilage. Very cool spot. Taken in the late afternoon?
This is on terrific shot, Chris. What’s not to love here? Awesome, man.
Very beautiful! Thanks for posting such an amazing shot.. You shared the beauty of the creek..
